With the last installment of the Harry Potter film franchise in theaters (until the reboot), we must finally say goodbye to Robbie Coltrane's performance as Hagrid. Thank you, Robbie, for ten years and eight films of eye candy. You were sorely underused. Chub of the Year 2010: Runners Up Part 1

Ah, here we are. 2010 has recently come to an end, which can only mean it's time to close down voting for Chub of the Year here at Chubarama. Voting was extremely, extremely close all the way through, and we're very happy to report this was by far the most reader involvement we've ever seen for Chub of the Year. So thanks to everyone who voted.

First up is our first group of runners up. These are the husky, tubby, chunky celebrities who all garnered multiple votes, but not enough to launch them into the upper echelons of the chub-o-sphere.

First up is an old favorite, Mark Addy. Mark has long been a favorite of Chubarama readers, and we suspect that he'll remain popular as he gets even more daddy bear-ish with age. He seems to have had a pretty quiet 2010, so perhaps we'll be seeing more of him in the coming year.

Next is a newcomer to the list, none other than Mr. Alec Baldwin. We here at Chubarama HQ have long been fans of Mr. Baldwin, and his role as Jack Donaghy on the always hysterical 30 Rock (those suits! that torso! those blue eyes!) and perhaps this have started to convince some readers of Alec's daddy bear cred. Excellent choice, voters!

Another runner up is the very popular Jack Black. A repeat runner up from last year, Jack was in this unfortunately, but fortunately will soon be in this. Awesome.

Doug Brochu! This up and coming 20 year old actor is new to our readers poll. He's got a killer smile, and the blond mop of hair and adorable dimples don't hurt, either. Watch out for Doug, he could be a serious star in 2011 and beyond.

Greg Grunberg has taken a tumble! A top 5 contender last year, the baby faced actor has kept a low profile this year, which probably accounts for the drop in votes. All the better for making a comeback soon, right?

Dannyboystudio.net is an online gallery featuring work from our friend Danny, an artist based Miami. His works centers on older, bigger, silver daddy-type men, with lots of muscle under their chubby builds and bushy mustaches. Think Santa after working out for a while, although the site features a ton of different pieces and prints for sale so there should be something for all papa bear lovers.

CHUBARAMA’S CHUB OF THE YEAR 2009 – The “also-rans,” part 2

Oh, Marko! Continuing with our Chub of the Year celebrities who received multiple votes (but not enough to get them into the top spots) we have Washington politico Marko Liias. Marko is one of the most popular politicians we've ever covered, and for being new to the scene and not exactly someone with a ton of name recognition, he's made a very impressive showing this year.

This is the very first time actor Richard Riehle has ever appeared on Chubarama. Kinda hard to believe, right? He was popular enough with readers to garner a handful of votes, which is quite good considering we've never had a post devoted to him. Expect one early in 2010.

Why did perennial favorite Seth Rogen only get a handful of votes this year? Probably because he's not a chub anymore! As we've discussed before Seth is currently slimmer while filming his role in the upcoming Green Hornet, but we'll see if he keeps off the pounds in the future.

Do you recognize who that is there in the back? Why, it's Andrew Zimmern of the Travel Channel. Andrew was mentioned by quite a few readers for Chub of the Year 2009, and for good reason - the guy takes his shirt off in every other episode of Bizarre World. Yummy stuff!

Lastly, Kevin James took the biggest hit this year. After placing 2nd in the 2008 poll, Kevin couldn't even bust into the top 10 in 2009. We knew Paul Blart: Mall Cop was bad, but was it that bad?

We still have the top two spots to reveal, which will happen in the morning hours Monday, Eastern Standard time. Sweet dreams until then!
