So this guy is wearing a pin that says, “I resist socialism.”
My condolences to this person as it seems that he could be one of many descriptions. Misinformed comes to mind, as does brainwashed. Unless this guy is an entrepreneur, a celebrity, and/or someone who makes more money in one day than 90% of citizens of the USA make in one year; he has no business resisting socialism. Dare I say, unless being paid to do such or just someone who is heartless and cruel – or jsut plain ignorant of the subject.
Of course, there are no specifics made regarding the pin he is wearing. It merely says, “I resist socialism.” So I can not help but assume, for the sake of argument, that he is against ALL current socialist policies and programs in the USA.
Actually, there are socialist aspects, policies, programs etc.. whatever one wants to call them (you should get the picture), in the USA that apparently very few anti-government, anti-socialist, “tea-baggers” object toward. Chances are, these same tea-baggers utilize one or many of these socialist mechanisms provided to them by the USA government without giving it a second thought:
garbage pickup, mail delivery, public schools, police departments, fire departments, park rangers, road maintenance, bridge maintenance, electrical grid maintenance, railroads, pentagon funding, ohhhh… and VA hospitals.
So, mr. anti-socialism man, where is your protesting of ANY of these government-provided services and calling for their elimination? After all, supposedly you resist socialism. That is what I thought…
So, while I do think you are handsome and that you are a good person at heart who only wants to be heard, seen, loved, means well, and desired to be viewed as important by others in the grand scheme of things; surely, you are not REALLY resisting socialism in EVERY instance. Now are you?
This handsome man has a pin that says, “I resist socialism.” I sincerely hope that he does not mean ALL forms of socialism. If he is, he would be against having police departments, fire departments, post office, trash pick-up, road maintenance, bridge maintenance, ohhh almost forgot the military branches and VA hospitals. I wager that some people at these rallies are unable to recognize examples of socialist entities inside the USA that Americans rely on every day for their very survival.
