Honestly, I’m not sure. It runs on Ning which is the same social network platform that BearZone runs on.

A friend told me about the site and after I poked around for a bit I joined up. I filled out the ridiculously long info sheet (which, I might add, you can’t really alter or delete information from after the fact) and moments later was “friended” by his majesty.
Red flag.
I discovered one can use just about all the features on the site without joining.

I did a search of the whois domains and found that Big Boy Mark Entertainment in Las Vegas owns the com, net, info and org. So I guess it is Mark from Vegas. I think its a great website.

Mark owns .net, .info and .org domains. He doesn’t own .com though.

why is it that it keeps on being taken away to be updated i mean i don't go on it that often and it seems each time i do want to go on it is offline for maintenance or something!

what happened to chubspot. Half the time I can't even get past the homepage cuz there's no sign in. That really blows.

Hey, i just signed up for chubspot and it wont allow a log in, ive been reading that this is common, but if i cant check out the site myself i guess i will just ask some questions! lol. So is this a social networking/dating/hookup site or is there pornographic content as well, just curious as to the format of the site, i hope its up and running soon!
Any info greatly appreciated guys!

that's what they get for letting minors on their site after they was told about it several times! maybe the feds finally fined and shut them down for that!

why did they not just host the entire site outside the USA in a country that has lax internet laws and just register the domain chubspot.com in an oversea location doesnt have to be the same place as you host or live in. This way you can remain isolated.
I.e no one will know who really owns the site in a country outside of US control. Even my own on site would be hard to track down as its all registered in proxy company names that have no relationship to my home location. which the state doesn’t even know as they only have a part address which leaves 70000 buildings to be searched.

man it seems like chubspot has died, even though their twitter subscribers seems to increase every day.

I was on Chubspot for several months, but it got very annoying to check my account and it would either be “down for maintenance” or it would be VERY slow. I’m sad, however, that it’s been down for months now (with no sign of it ever coming back). It’s disappointing that there isn’t a good central website for chubs and chasers (I don’t count Biggercity, as I and many other chub friends who used it never had ANY luck with it). It’s extremely hard to find chasers unless you live in a major city, so I only have the internet as a means to meet chasers. Chubspot was slow, but it was nice to get a friend request from a cute chaser here and there.
