Just looked it up, and we have lots and lots of readers from Italy, and Milan is the #1 Italian city for Chubarama fans. Below is the poster for the event, and after that we'll let GianOrso do the talking.
“Portraits of modern Gentlemen”
is the title of the photo exhibition of the roman photographer GianOrso
organized in occasion of the celebrating of the 25 years of activity of the “Circolo di iniziative Gay – Comitato Provinciale Arcigay Milano”.
Specialized in taking photos of only gay men belonging to the variegated “Bears” category in every possible aspect, from the classical portraits to the omoerotic poses, without forgetting the moments of affection between couples (and without any possible discriminations of ages, shapes, weights or hair), his being so mono-thematic is in reality only an appearance.
It takes a big talent to follow with coherence his personal artistic research and being anything but boring.
He has been the photographer of “Food for Bears”, the first bears calendar produced in Italy in 2002, his aesthetic research doesn't know limits, leaving to those who like and appreciate the category of bears, a panoramic 360 ° view on how human nature can be so rich and fascinating.
The opening is on friday june 12, at 9 pm,
in “Loft 21” - via Padova, 21 – Milan.
From 10.30 pm the party “More than I can Bear”.

Maybe I’m a little biased (hehe) – but Gianni is an absolutely fantastic photographer and a great guy. His portfolio deserves more people checking it out.
