I was in Chicago for a convention last July. Ate at GB. Was underwhelmed by the food (too arty and not enough of it), the staff (where was our waiter?), and overwhelmed by the over-the-top prices. GB frequently (ad infinitum) cites Charlie Trotter as a role model but CT would NEVER, EVER, EVER allow his guests to leave his restaurant feeling hungry. Not after paying over 300 dollars for a meal. Two people, appetizer, entree, wine, and dessert. (eye roll). Shame on you Graham, we had to grab some Mexican food down the street. One star.
