Last week we chatted with the very handsome up and coming young actor Jon Aderman.  Jon rose to fame after several videos of his, featuring Jon dancing to pop songs in not a lot of clothes, went viral on YouTube.

He's now working on an acting career, and was kind enough to give us an interview.  Read on!

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?  How about the basics.

I just turned 21 in the beginning of May. I live in Detroit, Michigan. The man behind Teh Pimpmasta General is Jonathan Alderman. Check me out on IMDB http://www.imdb.com/name/nm3154887/.

What inspired you to do your first YouTube videos?

I work at a Little Caesars as an Assistant Manager and we have these signs called Shakerboards. One of these is in the shape of a guitar. Well two years ago around Christmas I jokingly said I should make a men of Little Caesars calendar with stuff from the store covering my nether regions. That ended up turning into me taking a MySpace pic of me naked with just the guitar shakerboard covering myself. My friends thought it was funny and a friend from California jokingly told me to make a video. Well... I Touch Myself was the result. That made my friends laugh and so the other videos followed suit.

When did you realize they were getting big? Really going viral?

When I was 8. :P I didn't really realize my videos were getting a real response until I got a message from a company in England who was producing this show called RudeTube. That's when it really clicked for me. I mean my videos maybe have a million views together but there are copies of some of my videos out there that have a million views by themselves. Plus I've seen text messages and gif animations all over the place. It was hilarious when I saw it on 4chan.

Where are some of the funniest/weirdest/craziest places you've seen your videos?

Honestly when I found out about the whole Chubby Chaser community and saw my videos on a few sites was kinda weird for me at first but now I think it's great. I jokingly tell my friends I'm the Megan Fox of the Chubby Chaser Community. There was also one night where I was watching the Late Late show with Craig Ferguson and he was making fun of Axel Rose and said he had a clip of him. It was a snippet of my I Touch Myself video.

What happened next for you?

So far besides a couple of YouTube video oriented TV shows nothing else has really happened because of the videos. However I have recently got into acting and the second movie's director saw the videos and thought they were great so they added or should I say subtracted some clothes from me in the movie.

Could you tell us about your acting career now? What have you already done and what do you hope to do in the future?

As of now I'm still working on getting my feet totally wet. I've played a football player in two movies so far. The first being All's Faire In Love with Owen Benjamin, Matthew Lillard, Christina Ricci, Anne Margret, and Cedric the Entertainer. That movie is being shopped around at Cannes. I just finished my second movie in Flint called Minor League: A Football Story. It's a low budget comedy but I think there is some brilliance in it. I think my next move is seeking some Improv training out in Chicago.

What's your philosophy regarding your own body image? You seem remarkably confident when you're not wearing much, which could be pretty inspirational to the bigger men and women reading this. What gives?

While I am a very confident person now I wasn't always that way. It took a long time for me to accept myself for what I am and utilize that in ultimately what I feel my purpose in life is. To entertain people. I would love to lose some weight for health reasons but that is the only real reason for it. While your size will lead to people judging you, rather than being self pitying or blame your state on others it's important to see these as obstacles to overcome and persevere over them. Ultimately only one persons opinion matters. That's your own. The most important thing is to feel comfortable in your own skin but stay healthy.
