Michel Charette, hot bear, funny Quebecer

Our readers are sending in tons of great, new-to-us guys lately. This one is French comedian Michel Charette. The bear-ish look with the glasses is a very nice combination, we must say. Our submitter suggests that if you are interested in Michel and would like to see more, this page will do you well with lots more pictures and even video. Michel has lost a little weight over the years. I’ve actually been a fan of his for quite a while. Try your best to track down a movie called “Les Boys” (it also spawned 3 sequels and a TV series). It’s all in french (well Quebecois) and it’s a sort of rag-tag underdog hockey team that rallies through comic misadventures to…well I don’t want to spoil it
Michel plays the stereotypical chubby pseudo-pet of the team (he’s the coach’s son) who is quite the source for some of the physical comedy.
He also did a TV series prior to “Les Boys” called “Radio Enfer” (Radio Hell). It was a series about older high school students that ran a radio station. I think it ran 4 seasons but I’ve only located season one on DVD…had to go to Quebec to get it to.
He also did a series called “Max, Inc.” where he was a manager of some sort of musical variety…..it was hard to find on TV and I don’t speak french but Michel made it more than worth hunting for.
