The 12th Annual Midtown International Theatre Festival presents DON GIO.
Butlers, zombies, lesbians…it’s all just sex to him in Don Gio, a new play by Joshua R. Pangborn and produced by Sidekick Productions for the 12th Annual Midtown International Theatre Festival.
Opening July 16th, 2011 at 4:30 P.M. at The MainStage Box Theatre (312 W. 36th Street, Fourth Floor), Don Gio , portly lover of pleasure, is after his next great conquest, the lovely Ana. However, to win her he'll have to overcome several obstacles, including a long dead brother, a transsexual witch, and his affair with his butler in this gender-bending, hedonistic romp. Christopher Morris (Kids in America) and Jennifer Kent lead a talented cast of up-and-coming actors in the world premiere of this play.
Tickets are available online at this link. $18 dollars for the general public and $15 for students and seniors. Tickets for Industry professionals and Press are free by contacting Joshua R. Pangborn at 917.589.3914 or sidekickproductionsjosh@gmail.com.
Don Gio opens on July 16th at 4:30, with additional performances on July 17th at 4:00, July 18th at 8:00, July 21st at 6:30, July 30th at 6:00 and July 31st at 8:30. All performances are at The MainStage Theatre.
