Check it out, ladies and gents – our favorite DJ, DJ Kurt Jo, has just posted his end of 2012 2-hour mix for your enjoyment.
Happy New Year everybody!
HBO’s excellent Game of Thrones kicked off its 2nd season last Sunday evening, and to celebrate, we’re bringing you some of our favorite big boys from the show’s 1st season. Click the links below and you’ll be taken to Chubarama’s Tumblr where we have pictures of Mark Addy, Conleth Hill, Kristian Nairn (as a giant with a huge, exposed penis), and the stunningly gorgeous John Bradley as Samwell Tarly. Some links NSFW, mostly because of the giant penis. Enjoy!
Craig is a young/chubby/talented singer on this year’s X Factor in the UK. We quite like him, even though he’s recently started losing weight after going on what looks like a pretty strict diet and exercise regimen. You can enjoy all sorts of Craig Colton coverage over at Hell Yeah Craig Colton. Enjoy!
30 Rock‘s John Lutz. Shirtless. God bless him.
Don’t forget to follow us on Tumblr where we recently enjoyed a pic of John from his much bigger days.
Here are some frequently asked questions:
Q: Did the guy who writes Chubarama die?
A: No, no he did not. I’m still here, I still have a crack team of Chubarama Elves on Chub Safari, and I still have plenty of fans and readers sending me pictures and videos, too. I’ve been rudely ignoring them, for the most part. But I’m alive and well.
Q: Why are you not updating any more?
A: A lot of reasons. The biggest being, I haven’t felt like it. I started Chubarama what feels like a long time ago, and while I’ve never lost my passion for big men appreciation, I did feel for a while that the blog was mostly on autopilot. There’s nothing inherently wrong with that, of course, and Chubarama’s readers never seemed to mind, but it was getting to be more of a chore than a fun hobby sometimes. Also, my life is a lot different now than when I started the blog. I’m busy, I have a personal and social life, and quite simply I’ve had other things taking up my time.
Q: Could you please start updating more?
A: Yes. I probably will. There is no way for Chubarama to go back to the days when there were 10 updates a day, but after some encouragement from people I care about I’m going to start ramping up production. Posts will appear less often, but they will appear. At least one new author is going to be added into the fold. The site will probably get a complete redesign and overhaul by the end of the year. As a long-term project we’re thinking about drastically changing the format of published posts, or adding new sections to the site. We will absolutely do Chub of the Year 2010.
Q: But no, seriously, where have you been?
A: Ok. Honestly, I’m still reading Tumblr a lot. I started Chubarama before anything like Tumblr was on the scene, but if Tumblr has proven anything, it’s that anybody can do what I do here. And I mean that in the best possible way; I do not have any monopoly at all on trolling the internet for pictures of chunky guys. There’s a wonderful collective sense of discovery that comes with tens or hundreds of people finding and sharing images of big men together, which was exactly my motivation for starting my little blog here in the first place. “Hey, check out how beautiful this guy is. Isn’t that great? Let me share it with you!” So it’s with that inspiration, plus the positive feedback from my readers, that will keep me going here.
Now let’s go check out some fatties.
